Municipal Facilities Management

Municipal Facilities Management

The Department of General Services Municipal Facilities Management is responsible for DGS tenant relationships. They are the first call when tenants need answers. In conjunction with the rest of DGS, Office of Sustainable Energy, and the Real Estate Office, MFM deals with long-term projects that save the city money and ensure agencies have the proper space to provide services to citizens. These projects deal with energy-saving measures, overseeing of buildings ownership transfers, negotiating new agreements, and space management initiatives.

We are committed to providing people solutions utilizing knowledge and accurate data.

DGS, working in conjunction with Mayor Pugh’s 2017 legislative agenda, provides maintenance and security to surplus schools. To view available surplus schools, please visit https://www.surplus-schoolsbaltimore.com/.
