This month Mayor Pugh kicked off the City’s annual United Way Campaign with an afternoon celebration on the War Memorial Plaza. There were food trucks, music, dancing, and a photo op with the Ravens’ mascot, Poe! You could even catch Director Sharkey on the lawn throwing around a football; it was a great opportunity for DGS staff to relax and donate to a great cause. The event raised over $22,000 and was a great success. Don’t forget to turn in your pledge card and stay tuned as DGS will be hosting some really fun United Way fundraising events over the next few months!
