“Sisters, Soldiers: Black Women in the Military” will be on display at the War Memorial

From now until May 31st, a temporary exhibit entitled “Sisters, Soldiers: Black Women in the Military” will be on display at the War Memorial 101 N. Gay Street alongside the recently renewed permanent collection of military artifacts. Come learn about the impact that African American women have had in our nation’s armed forces from 1776 to the present. This exhibit is on loan from the Reginald F. Lewis Museum and is sponsored by the Baltimore City Department of General Services.

The War Memorial is open Monday-Friday 8:00AM – 4:00PM. Admission is free and open to the public.
