Police Headquarters' Facade Cleaning Completed

Facade Cleaning

Over the months of June and July, the Baltimore City Police Department Headquarters’ building facade was cleaned, making a substantial difference in its curb appeal. DGS Facilities Maintenance Division pro-actively contracted a vendor to spruce up the building’s exterior and the end result is sure to catch the eyes of many who pass through the heavily traveled corridor.

But, one might ask, why should a building’s facade be cleaned? A building looks its best when free of grime and removing pollutants extends the life of the masonry. DGS is focused on not only making cosmetic improvements to our buildings, but also the preventative maintenance that protects them from needing extensive repairs in the future.
