Julia Kalloz, DGS' New Deputy Chief of Energy

DGS gives a very warm welcome to Julia Kalloz, Deputy Chief of Energy. Julia returns to Baltimore City having previously worked in the Office of Sustainable Energy from 2014-2016. During her time away, she worked for the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development and as a consultant to federal agencies. She is an Association of Energy Engineers Certified Manager (CEM) and Leadership in Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP).

A native of Gettysburg, PA, Julia attended Villanova and George Washington Universities before moving to Baltimore. She shares her beautiful Baltimore row home with her cat Little Bones and every year since moving to the city, she has participated in Tour dem Parks, Hon. Julia’s favorite Baltimore food spots include Breaking Bread in Pigtown, Khepera’s Kitchen in Waverly, and Annabel Lee’s in Highlandtown. We’re very excited to have her and her team on board!
