Pictured above (L-R) is DGS Director, Chichi Nyagah-Nash, along with Kathleen Douglas, the winner of the 50/50 raffle DGS hosted to raise money for the United Way Campaign. Ms. Douglas was in the Abel Wolman Building paying her water bill on the day she bought her ticket during a Bake Sale the DGS was hosting to raise money for the 2019 United Way Campaign.

On December 24th, 2019, Kathleen came to collect her winnings. She had a chance to speak to the Director who wanted to personally thank Kathleen for her participation and contribution to the United Way Campaign. Also, Director Chichi had the opportunity to briefly share information about the great work that the United Way of Central Maryland does in the region and how the funds would help further those endeavors. Kathleen was not aware of the causes UWCM supported and was impressed to learn about it.
